PCMB is a Science stream combination offered in PUC (1st & 2nd year pre-university), typically after 10th standard. It includes four core science subjects:

Physics – The study of matter, energy, motion, and force.

Chemistry – The study of substances, their reactions, and compositions.

Mathematics – Abstract science of numbers, algebra, geometry, calculus.

Biology – The study of living organisms, human anatomy, and life processes.

This combination keeps all future career options open—both engineering (via Mathematics) and medical (via Biology).

Those who are undecided between engineering and medical fields.

Students wanting to keep both NEET and JEE/CET options open.
