PCMS is a Science stream combination offered in PUC (1st & 2nd year pre-university), typically after 10th standard. It includes four core science subjects:

Physics – The study of matter, energy, motion, and force.

Chemistry – The study of substances, their reactions, and compositions.

Mathematics – Abstract science of numbers, algebra, geometry, calculus.

Statistics – Central Tendency, Dispersion, Probability Theory, Correlation, Regression, Sampling, Index Numbers.

This stream is best suited for students who have strong analytical and numerical skills and are not interested in Biology or Computer Science.

Students who excel in Science & Math and enjoy problem-solving and analysis.

Those who are undecided between engineering and medical fields.

Students wanting to keep both NEET and JEE/CET options open.

Those planning for careers in finance, statistics, research, and mathematical modeling.
